RENTAL POLICY

All reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of reservation with the balance due at check in. Payments must be made by valid credit (not debit) card in the name of the reserving guest.

Reserving guest must be 21 years of age or older and present a valid photo ID at check in.

Each cabin has a maximum occupancy allowed by fire code. Therefore house parties are strictly prohibited. Any guest found hosting a house party will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be issued.

Certain cabins are designated as pet friendly. Guest must request a pet friendly unit at the time of reservation. In order to accommodate guests with allergies we must charge a fee of $100 to any guest bringing a pet into a non-pet unit.

All of our units are non smoking. Ash cans are provided outside for your convenience. A $100 fee will be charged to any guest who breaks the non-smoking requirement.

Our cancellation policy requires a 30 day notice from the time of arrival. Upon the proper 30 day notice we will refund your deposit less a $20 processing fee. Cancellations given with less than 30 days’ notice will forfeit their deposit unless the cabin is re-rented for the same time frame at which time we will refund your deposit less a $20 processing fee.

We allow one date change per reservation as long as the change in date is requested at least one week prior to arrival and the new date is within 6 months of the original. Last minute date changes are treated just like a cancellation and a new deposit will be required.

We strive to provide an enjoyable getaway for our guests. Noise complaints will be taken seriously and a warning will be issued. A repeated offense will require the guest to vacate the premises and a refund will not be issued.

A two-night minimum is required for all weekend stays.

Holidays include Martin Luther King Weekend, Presidents Day Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Columbus Day Weekend, and the middle of December through the first of January. A three-night minimum is required for all holiday weekends.

Pet Policy

We welcome pets in our designated pet friendly cabins which are:

  • One Bedrooms – Beckley Old #9 and The Big Catch
  • Two Bedrooms – Snow Drift and Roaring Rapids
  • Three Bedroom – The Summit


We currently do not have a pet friendly option for our lodge, treehouses or cottages.

Guest must request a pet friendly unit at the time of reservation and pay a $50 pet fee. We limit the number of pets to two per cabin.

In order to accommodate guests with allergies, we must charge a fee of $100 to any guest bringing a pet into a non-pet unit.

Guest bringing pets into a cabin assume responsibility for any damages caused by their pet which includes rendering linens unusable due to pet hair which cannot be removed by washing and drying the linens. The fee will be equal to the cost of the replacement linens. In order to avoid this fee, we encourage guests to keep pets off of the beds.

Pets are to be on a leash when outside of the cabin and accompanied by an owner. Pets are not permitted to be tied out or left outside unattended.

We ask that owners use waste disposal bags to immediately clean up after their pet and to properly dispose of the bags in trash receptacles. Outdoor trash cans are provided at each cabin and at locations throughout the property.

As a courtesy to all our guests, we do not charge a cleaning fee and try our best to clean and maintain our cabins in an efficient manner in order to keep our costs down and competitive. However, additional cleaning times may be encountered, especially if pet hair is excessive and/or needs to be removed from furniture. In these cases you may be charged a $25 cleaning fee. In order to avoid this fee, we encourage guests to keep pets off the furniture.

Please know that we do not like to charge our guests additional fees and try to avoid it as much as possible which is why we ask pet owners to help us out by adhering to the above regulations and recommendations. Your cooperation and assistance are greatly appreciated as we strive to make The Cabins at Pine Haven an enjoyable get away for our guests and their four legged companions.
